Specialty characteristics: This specialty is oriented towards the high-end equipment manufacturing industry. It insists on improving the comprehensive quality of students as the basis, developing students' vocational competence as the core, meeting enterprises' needs as the guide. It pays attention to promote the interdisciplinary integration of automation technology, system integration technology, detection technology，computer and Information Technology, etc., emphasizes the coordinated development of knowledge, ability and quality. It pays attention to the mastery of basic and core knowledge of Mechatronics, lays special focus on training students' core competencies in the application of pneumatic control, hydraulic control and electrical control systems, of computer and information technology, of automation control and detection technologies, and in the assembly, maintenance and application of electromechanical equipments. Generally, this specialty is tailored to the needs of cultivating high quality technical skill talents who are able to solve actual engineering problems, engaged in the installation, repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.

Specialty characteristics: This specialty is oriented towards the advanced manufacturing industry. It pays close attention to the interdisciplinary integration of electrical control technology, computer control technology, and industrial control network technology, fully exploiting the training facilities or conditions available at the College and enterprises. Through such measures as professional qualification appraisal, it focuses on the coordinated development of students' knowledge, competence and quality. This specialty introduces the advanced concepts of international business management and tourism management in Switzerland into the key courses nurtured by both Chinese and Swiss teachers. It aims to train the professionals who can adapt to the needs of international business activities of multi-national corporations, especially foreign-related tourism institutions. Specifically, students are expected to be the specialists compliant with internationally accepted standards on international business and tourism, with good mastery of theoretical knowledge and skills of tourism management, enterprise management and international marketing, and with the ability of engaging in design and development of tourism products, tourism marketing management and administrative management in multi-national corporations, especially foreign-related tourism institutions.
