On the afternoon of November 28, a delegation of three people led by the person in charge of measurement technology of Carl Zeiss (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. visited our school. Xiao Qian, Vice President of the Institute, led a team to warmly receive the company's visitors.
Carl Zeiss AG, a German enterprise established in 1846 to manufacture optical and optoelectronic equipment, is a global technology pioneer in the field of optics and optoelectronics. ZEISS coordinate measurement technology and measurement software solutions provide reliable and intuitive advanced measurement technology to ensure accuracy, quality and efficiency in modern manufacturing fields such as automobile and aerospace manufacturing. In 2021, the Department of Manufacturing Engineering of our school signed a school enterprise cooperation agreement with Carl Zeiss (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd.
Xiao Qian, Vice President of the Institute, introduced the establishment of the Sino German Institute for Integrated Development of Industry and Education in Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology. In combination with the vocational undergraduate construction work of the Institute, he carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions with the Company in deepening the cooperation between industry, education and research, building the vocational undergraduate talent training plan, characteristic vocational skills training, teacher construction, etc.
The exchange agreed that the cooperation between schools and enterprises of the two sides has a solid foundation and resonance in direction. In the future, we will carry out in-depth cooperation in a deeper and more meaningful way.
