To facilitate student feedback on teaching quality and enhance educational standards, the Department of Manufacturing Engineering hosted two symposiums on November 4, 2025, as part of the "Teaching Quality Month" initiative. The sessions were held in the conference room on the 4th floor of the auxiliary building in the Skills Building, targeting vocational undergraduate, secondary vocational, and higher vocational students. Attendees included President Yao Hongguang, Vice President Zhu Jianjun, along with heads of the Academic Affairs Office, Basic Teaching Department, and the Department of Manufacturing Engineering leadership team.
The symposium was conducted in phases, covering three levels: vocational undergraduate, secondary vocational, and higher vocational education, ensuring student representatives from all majors participated. Separate symposiums were organized for vocational undergraduate majors.

At the symposium, the students made many constructive suggestions on curriculum, teaching methods, teaching facilities and life services.
The attending leaders attentively listened to each student's presentation and provided on-the-spot responses to specific concerns. Principal Yao Hongguang affirmed that the school would prioritize all student feedback, categorize and analyze it, then collaborate with relevant departments to expedite solutions. The institution will continue enhancing teaching resources, optimizing the learning environment, and strengthening support services to cultivate a more conducive educational ecosystem.
This symposium not only built a communication bridge between students and school administrators, but also provided valuable insights for optimizing teaching management and enhancing educational quality. The Department of Manufacturing Engineering will leverage this opportunity to address identified issues, continuously improve teaching standards, and support students' holistic development.
