On November 10th, 2025, the "Outstanding Engineer" industry-education integration program, a collaboration between the college and San Guo Group (Demach Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.), officially commenced with a groundbreaking ceremony at the company's facility. Attendees included San Guo Group Chairman Wang Hongjun, corporate executives, Deputy President Xiao Qian, faculty members from the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, and all participating students. The event was moderated by Li Houjia, Director of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering.

Chairman Wang Hongjun first gave a detailed introduction to the internship arrangements for students, and put forward clear requirements and earnest expectations to the students. He emphasized that enterprise practice is a key link for students to move from campus to the workplace, and hoped that students could hone their skills and improve their comprehensive quality in practice.
Vice President Xiao Qian expressed gratitude to the corporate partners for their meticulous arrangements and dedication to education. She emphasized that this collaboration aligns perfectly with the university's talent development goals and the 15th Five-Year Plan. She encouraged students to cherish this internship opportunity, focusing on knowledge acquisition and skill enhancement. Beyond honing professional expertise, she urged them to broaden their global perspectives and cultivate a strong sense of quality and standardization.
In their speeches, student representatives shared their profound reflections on the first day of the visit and training, stating that this practical opportunity was highly beneficial. They pledged to seize the chance, strive for self-improvement, and lay a solid foundation for their future career development.
Several corporate executives offered tailored advice and expectations to the students from diverse perspectives. Mr.Qin highlighted the significant gap between corporate real-world operations and academic training, urging students to strengthen both their technical expertise and soft skills. He stressed the importance of mastering standards, protocols, and systematic approaches, while developing project execution capabilities in technical management, communication, cost control, and time-efficiency awareness—alongside a strong safety consciousness. Mr.Zhu emphasized that the internship would focus on engineering skills development, corporate culture integration, and safety awareness cultivation, helping students transition from individual learners to effective team members. Mr.Zhao encouraged students to stay ahead in both learning and action, urging them to embrace hands-on learning with proactive engagement.

A defining moment of the ceremony was when all participants signed their names on uniforms symbolizing professional identity and team spirit. This not only created a meaningful ritual record but also formed a shared memory and commitment, embodying the mutual aspirations of both the school and the enterprise for industry-education integration. It also marked the students' official commencement of a new chapter in their professional development within the company.

Before the opening ceremony, under the guidance of Chairman Wang Hongjun, all faculty and students toured the production workshops and facilities of San Guo Group, gaining firsthand experience of the company's advanced manufacturing processes and modern production environment.

The successful implementation of the "Outstanding Engineer" enterprise practice program represents a significant step in the school's efforts to deepen industry-education integration and promote collaborative talent development between academia and industry. It also serves as a bridge for students to transition from theoretical knowledge to practical application, and from classroom learning to real-world job responsibilities.
