On the morning of April 11, the 2025 Yangtze River Delta Vocational Colleges High-Quality "Vocational Education Going Global" and International Industry-Education Integration Summit was successfully held in Shanghai. The summit was hosted by the National Vocational College Principals Training Base, jointly guided by the "Belt and Road" Education International Exchange Branch of the China Education International Exchange Association, the National Vocational Education Research Institute, the Jiangsu Education International Exchange Association, the Zhejiang Education International Exchange Association, and the Shanghai Education International Exchange Association, and co-organized by Shanghai Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College, Shanghai Agriculture and Forestry Vocational and Technical College, and Shanghai Engineering Technical University Higher Vocational and Technical College (Shanghai Advanced Technical School).
This summit featured distinguished domestic and international guests, who engaged in in-depth discussions on the "New Double High Plan" for high-quality vocational education internationalization and school-enterprise collaboration, drawing from international exchanges and corporate partnerships in vocational education overseas. The event was chaired by Xiao Qian, Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Technology and Deputy Director of Shanghai Advanced Technical School. Attendees included vocational college leaders, program directors, internationalization specialists, core faculty members, and corporate experts from partner enterprises across the Yangtze River Delta and other Chinese provinces.

At the meeting, Songheang Ai, Director of SEAMEO TED, and Dr. Eni Dwi Wardihani, President of Bandung Institute of Technology, introduced the current status of Southeast Asian countries in technical training, scientific research, and students 'vocational skills, as well as the needs of more China schools in joining international professional standards, international curricula, and international training exports. Representatives from vocational colleges, including Zhou Qingyuan from Changzhou Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical College, Kong Xiaohui, Assistant Dean of Xuzhou Engineering Machinery Technician College, Chen Lijing, President of Shanghai Agriculture and Forestry Vocational and Technical College, and Liu Jinbao, Vice President of Zhejiang Tongji Science and Technology Vocational College, presented their practical plans and achievements in "vocational education going global." Corporate representative Chen Xing, General Manager of Haitian Education Technology Group, introduced the company's support measures for vocational colleges' "vocational education going global" initiatives.

The summit discussed the construction goals of high-quality "vocational education going global" in Yangtze River Delta vocational colleges, localization and internationalization strategies for "China standards" to become "international standards", and skill training demands in countries along the "Belt and Road". It enhanced the international influence of the "New Double High Plan" construction and vocational education, and explored new paths to serve international production capacity cooperation and the "going global" of Chinese enterprises.
