2025 Work Report Meeting of Sino-Swiss Joint Education Program Held Between Our University and the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons

The 2025 Work Report Meeting for the Sino-Swiss Joint Education Program was held on the afternoon of October 30 between our university and the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons (FHGR). In attendance were Ms. WANG Qin, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office; Prof. Patric Arn, Director of Studies at the Institute for Tourism and Leisure; and Prof. YAO Hongguang, Dean of our college. Prof. XIAO Qian, Vice Dean of our college, and Prof. Thuc Lan Tran, Swiss Director of the Joint Program in Tourism, joined the meeting remotely.



The meeting centered on a review of the programs 2025 academic year operations. Ms. WANG Qin extended a warm welcome to Prof. Arn. Subsequently, Prof. YAO Hongguang, Prof. Patric Arn, and Prof. Thuc Lan Tran delivered detailed reports covering student development, budgeting, curriculum design, faculty exchanges, and teaching quality management, reaching consensus on several key issues.

In the final session, both parties held in-depth discussions on addressing current operational challenges and explored strategies to enhance teaching quality, increase student mobility, and strengthen students’ intercultural skills.

The Sino-Swiss Joint Education Program successfully completed the program evaluation and extension process conducted by the Shanghai Municipal Education Evaluation Institute earlier this year. Bothuniversities look forward to the upcoming leadership meeting and to continuing their collaboration, aiming to further deepen their partnership in cultivating international talent and promoting educational development.
