On June 11 to 12, 2025, the "Electronic Technology" event of the Mechanical Industry Selection for the 2025 National Vocational Skills Competition took place in Guangzhou. Sixteen elite competitors from twelve provinces and municipalities engaged in an intense 11-hour contest. Led by Department Director Zhang Rui, with core faculty mentors Zhang Jing and Xue Jinhui providing expert guidance, student Jin Ziwen delivered an outstanding performance to claim the prestigious First Prize.

Amidst the noisy competition venue and unfamiliar challenges, Jin Ziwen maintained remarkable composure, channeling his accumulated training and extensive competition experience into a consistent, stable performance. He adeptly navigated multiple unexpected issues that arose during the contest, ultimately showcasing his distinctive style and technical mastery.

This marked our school's inaugural participation in this competition. Since commencing preparation in October 2024, the student competitor had gained invaluable experience through two major skill events—the Shanghai WorldSkills Selection and Shanghai's 2nd Vocational Skills Competition—honing advanced techniques and developing systematic strategies. The instructor team, drawing upon years of pedagogical and competition expertise, devoted extensive overtime to analyzing new regulations and structuring preparation frameworks. Through diligent student research and dedicated faculty mentorship, our competitor navigated formidable challenges throughout the competition, ultimately ascending to the national podium.

The Applied Electronic Technology faculty-student team will proactively review lessons learned from this competition to further enhance skill development and cultivate more high-caliber technical professionals. Congratulations to our fearless and courageous faculty-student team!
