On November 8th, 2025, the 2025 Shanghai Student Sunshine Sports League Track and Field Competition (Secondary Vocational Group), co-sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Municipal Sports Bureau, and Communist Youth League Shanghai Municipal Committee, was grandly held at Shanghai Industry and Commerce Information School. This event attracted more than 700 young athletes from 47 secondary vocational schools across the city to gather and compete fiercely.

Since the registration for the competition in early September, two highly experienced coaches from the PE Teaching &Research Section of Basic Teaching Department—Mr. Ma Pei and Mr. Wu Xudong—have meticulously organized selection and training. Outstanding athletes were selected through student self-recommendation and on-campus trials. The coaches conducted intensive training for individual events and relay races during after-school hours, and finally led a team of 23 athletes to participate in the competition. The persistent efforts of the athletes and the hard work of the coaches have yielded remarkable results.

After intense competitions, our school won the Third Prize in the Men's Group and Third Prize in the Women's Group of the 2025 Shanghai Student Sunshine Sports League Track and Field Competition (Secondary Vocational Group). Additionally, our student Gu Haojie secured the 8th place in the Men's 3000-meter event.

The 2025 Shanghai Student Sunshine Sports League is still in progress. Next, our school will participate in badminton, table tennis and other competitions. With the care and support of the school leaders and various departments, as well as the guidance of all the coaches from the PE Teaching and Research Section, the training of participating athletes is in full swing. We wish our students continued efforts and greater achievements in the upcoming competitions!
