The award ceremony for the 15th "Shangtu Cup" Advanced Graphic Technology and Innovative Design Competition was successfully held, marking the successful conclusion of this annual flagship event in the industry. The competition was organized by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, supported by the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, and co-hosted by the Shanghai Society for Graphics and Donghua University. In this year's competition, our team achieved outstanding results, securing multiple awards.

The selection of contestants and pre-competition guidance for this "Shangtu Cup" were led by Teachers Chen Yan and Zhu Yingxiang from the Department of Fundamental Courses. Building upon student club activities, excellent students were selected through methods including intra-school competitions to undergo intensive training before forming teams to participate. Ultimately, our delegation achieved outstanding results, winning: one Team First Prize and one Team Second Prize in the Higher Vocational Group; three Individual First Prizes and seven Individual Second Prizes; as well as two Outstanding Instructor Awards.

The competition upholds the development strategy of the Ministry of Education's "Excellent Engineer Education Plan." It is based on cultivating the engineering capabilities and skills of university students, working together to build a communication platform for nurturing excellent engineers. Through organizing and training for competitions, the Department of Fundamental Courses not only hones students' graphic skills and design innovation capabilities, promoting learning and teaching through competition, but also creates valuable opportunities for experience sharing between university teachers and enterprise technical personnel. This fosters a collaborative "Teaching, Learning, Research, and Production" ecosystem for engineer cultivation.
