At 9 am on September 23,2024, the Department of Management successfully held a special lecture with the theme of "Digital Transformation and the Revolutionary Impact of Artificial Intelligence in the Hotel Industry and the Global Economy" in the conference room on the fourth floor of the Graphic Information Center.
Professor Antoine CASANOVA-MAZET from HIM (Montreux Hotel Business Administration University, Switzerland) was invited as the keynote speaker. Founded in 1985, HIM is part of the Swiss Education Group and enjoys a high reputation in the field of hotel management and business management.
Antoine CASANOVA-With his rich practical experience and forward-looking insights, Professor MAZET presented a feast of knowledge about digital transformation and artificial intelligence. He deeply analyzed the key driving force of digital transformation in the transformation and upgrading of the hotel industry, and explained the path of hotels to achieve a leap in operational efficiency, personalized customization of customer experience and service mode innovation by means of intelligent system, big data analysis and other means. In addition, he clarified the strategic position of AI in the global economy, and discussed the role of AI technology to industrial upgrading, creating new economic growth and its profound impact on human lifestyle. Through vivid case sharing, teachers and students further understood how to improve the business operation process, enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, so as to take the lead in the fierce market competition.
The atmosphere of the lecture was warm, and the teachers and students actively asked questions, and had an in-depth interaction with Professor Antoine. This lecture provides an opportunity and perspective for teachers and students to understand the frontier trends of the industry and expand their professional horizons.
