On the afternoon of June 18,2024, the awarding ceremony of 2024 graduate courses of International Business (Tourism and Business Management) of Sino-Swiss cooperative school project was held in Siwei Hall of Hongkou Campus of Shanghai Engineering. The project is a collaboration between higher Vocational College and the Swiss University of Applied Sciences in the field of tourism management, welcoming the seventh graduate of the project this year.

In his speech, Vice President Xia Chunming first welcomed all the guests. He pointed out that Shanghai UTC has always adhered to the concept of open education, actively implemented the international development strategy, actively expanded the cooperation with world-renowned universities and application-oriented universities with applied characteristics, and continuously expanded the "circle of friends" of cooperation. Afterwards, Vice President Xia reviewed the achievements of the 10th anniversary of the project and thanked the teachers from both China and Switzerland for their hard work. He said that the signing of a new round of cooperation agreement on the project is another new starting point for the cooperation between China and Switzerland. At the end of his speech, he expressed his best wishes and encouragement to the 202 4 China-Switzerland cooperative school graduates.
Gao Yifan, Deputy Consul General of the Swiss Consulate General in Shanghai, also delivered a wonderful speech. He pointed out that China and Switzerland will take an opportunity to further deepen the innovative strategic partnership in the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries in 2025. Then, he sent his best wishes to all the students present here. Jurg Kessler, President of The University of Applied Sciences and Patric Arn, Dean of the School of Tourism, expressed warm congratulations via video and expressed great importance to the decade-long partnership. On behalf of President Zheng Shubin, president of the Higher Vocational College and the Sino-Swiss cooperative school project, reported to all the graduates and parents the achievements of the Sino-Swiss cooperative school project in the past year, fully affirmed the work of the cooperative project, and sent sincere wishes to the students present.
Two of the grade 21 Sino-Switzerland graduates have been admitted to Graubingdon University of Applied Sciences and will continue their bachelors degree in Kur, Switzerland, in September this year. Director Wang Qin and Secretary Wang Zhenjun issued the admission notice to the two students, and sent the sunflower bouquet, wishing the two students a bright future.
