On July 8, 2024, in the hot summer, the special training course of "International Vocational Qualification Certificate of Vocational Colleges" opened!
The training course was organized by the Higher Vocational and Technical College of Shanghai University of Engineering Science, and invited the German vocational education expert, the former chairman of the National Second Unified Examination Committee, the president of the Berlin Higher Vocational Training Center, Mibus Peter Alfred (Mibus Bitalfrid), Domestic experts such as Xu Guoqing, professor and doctoral supervisor of East China Normal University, Wang Jiping, dean of Vocational Education College of Tongji University, and Wang Zhiming, professor of Jinhua Vocational and Technical University, were hired as keynote teachers to carry out research and training activities on international and domestic vocational education. 20 trainees come from vocational teachers of 8 middle and higher vocational colleges such as Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College and Shanghai Advanced Technical School.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Xiao Qian, vice president of Vocational College of Shanghai University of Engineering Science, and Dean Zheng Shubin made a speech at the opening ceremony. In his speech, Dean Zheng stressed that the workshop is not only an academic discussion, but also an opportunity to improve my professional level, international cooperation and exchange vision, and vocational education reform and innovation ability. German expert Mibus Peter Alfred introduced his experience in vocational education in Germany, hoping to impart the German dual teaching mode to everyone through case teaching and classroom interaction, so that everyone can gain a full harvest in the training.
Finally, Yi Ping, Minister of Higher Education Vocational Education Department of Shanghai Teachers Education College, on behalf of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, wished the training course a complete success and proposed that the overseas training program is an important measure implemented by China's Ministry of Education in order to improve the teaching ability and quality of vocational college teachers and promote the development of vocational education.
