上海工程技术大学高等职业技术学院创建于1998年，是以机械工程、电子工程和管理科学与工程学科专业为主体，兼具“高教”和"职教”属性的内设二级学院，是上海工程技术大学朝着建设国内一流的高水平现代化工程应用型特色大学目标进程中，实施高等职业技术教育、培养高素质技术技能人才，开展技术创新和技能培训服务的承载区。
The Higher Vocational and Technical College of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology was founded in 1998. 学院座落于上海市逸仙路88号，与上海市高级技工学校共处同一个校园，共享上海市五星级“数控技术应用开放实训中心”、三星级“机电一体化开放实训中心”、二星级“机器人技术开放实训中心”，上海市模具设计与制造实训基地、商品储运与配送实训中心等实习实训场所，共享上海市高技能人才培养基地和世界技能大赛“工业控制”“增材制造”赛项上海市牵头基地。
The college is located at No. 88 Yixian Road, Shanghai, and shares the same campus as the Shanghai Advanced Technical School. 学院设有机电工程系、制造工程系、管理系、基础教学部四个系部，共开设专业13个（中高职教育贯通专业3个），其中：“模具设计与制造”“机电一体化技术”2个专业为上海市一流专业，“数控技术”为上海市中高职教育贯通高水平专业，“国际商务（旅游及商务管理）” 为上海市高职教育领域唯一与瑞士合作办学的品牌项目，各专业办学中所形成的优势与特色在社会上一直享有良好的声誉。

学院拥有市级教师教学创新团队领衔的高质量“双师型”教师队伍，现有全国职业院校技能大赛优秀指导教师、金牌指导教师10余人，市级教学团队8支，市级教学名师2名，市级技能大师工作室1个；市级课程（含精品课程、在线开放课程、精品在线开放课程）课程24门。近五年来，获上海市级教学成果奖8项。
