October 19th, 2023, Dr. Andreas Deuber, director of international exchange of FHGR, Switzerland, and Dr. Truc Lan Tran, director of the Sino-Swiss program, came to Hongkou Campus to have an exchange discussion with Chinese lecturers of Sino-Swiss program.
The workshop was held in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Before entering the meeting room, two Swiss representatives first reviewed the wonderful photo exhibition boards of the past ten years of Sino-Swiss cooperation, and had a cordial conversation with all lecturers. In the brief opening speech of the meeting, Xiao Qian, Vice dean of our program extended a warm welcome to the two Swiss guests who came to Shanghai from afar!
In the process of exchange and discussion, lecturers of Sino-Swiss Program first expressed their views on the following two aspects: First, the significance of Sino-Swiss cooperative project for the career development of teachers and the cultivation of students' innovative ability. Secondly, review and evaluation of the main contents of 10th anniversary of Sino-Swiss cooperation, also prospects for the future development of cooperation. Both Chinese and Swiss lecturers had an interactive exchange on the problems and suggestions they encountered in the teaching process.
Next, the representative of the Swiss side put forward relevant opinions and suggestions on the source of independent enrollment, students' English level, classroom performance and teaching quality management. The teaching assistants listened carefully to the views expressed by Swiss side, and had a further understanding of how to optimize the Sino-Swiss cooperation while learning from the experience of the Swiss side.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Sino-Swiss Program, the successful holding of this workshop will surely inject new vitality and show a new atmosphere into Sino-Swiss Program!
